Welcome to my journal!

In all other aspects of life I am messy and disorganised but I am obsessive about filing, tagging and indexing my work, (apparently even when not at work,) so in deference to my anal retentiveness I give you my contents page.

Currently all my fiction entries (and most but not all of the non-fic posts) are open to everyone, (if I ever write anything that is NC-17 I will friend lock it, just for peace of mind. Some of these have slash/yaoi pairings and some are het, the pairings and ratings are listed as a guide, read what you like ignore what you don't.

Hiya hope you've all had a good weekend. I've actually been doing some writing for the first time in ages (though don't expect anything to be posted for a bit).

I've also been revisiting various animes.... I'm now only 10 Bleach episodes behind (as opposed to the 30 or so I was last week) and I started rewatching Trinity Blood. :0)

Anyway I was chatting to my Mum and she said she fancied trying out some anime if I got one for her birthday. So I was going to get one of the Studio Gibhli films... to break her in gently. Now I just have to decide which.... I'm leaning towards Spirited Away which I loved. But thought I'd ask everyone which their favourites were.

Have been watching back to back bleach for the last couple of days. Am still way behind, ep160 and Zanpaktos are still running around and now there are sword fiends. I loved this filler arc but it's starting to drag now. But yay I still have loads more to watch to catch up.

Happy Valentines Day Boys and Girls, well ladies, I suppose I don't think there are actually any guys who read my LJ.... Boys comment now to prove me wrong.
I was going to do a load of Valentines ficlets with all my favourite pairings but in the end the only one's who wanted to cooperate this evening were Yumichika and Ikkaku, and oddly a very short Kronos and Methos moment so here we are:

Gah, I am working on the next chapter of Learning to communicate, I was doing so well and then I moved into a scene between Trowa and Heero. Really can't get the dialogue right between them, probably because most of their canon interactons are full of long and occasionally confusing monologues (surely I'm not the only one who has noticed that).

In the meantime I bring two Bleach and one gundam wing drabble that have been sitting untouched on my hard drive for a while. The first is about the 10th division and the second the 11th (My two favourite divisions). Followed by a drabble about Heero and Trowa.

I've been watching 07-ghost, I can't make up my mind whether I like it or not.... the set up and some of the episodes are great and then others I'm pretty much who? what? huh? Oh I dozed off and missed half of it oh well.

I knew I recognised Frau's voice too, and it was buggin me like anything feel much happier now I've looked him up. He's been in several animes I like but specifically he was Atobe Keigo, I knew I recognised that tone. This has made my inner fangirl happy and I have decided I do like the series now. Should be able to finish the series off tomorrow then I'll go back to mourning Bleach until the next episode is released. Yay Hitsugaya-Hyoinmarou centric episode next.

In the meantime I really must get on with writing my Caspian fic for

hl_flashfic the deadline is not that distant, in theory I should be able to write the whole thing in one sitting, being quite short but it isn't cooperating yet.

I've been watching Bleach in a massive marathon catch up. I had been on episode 193 and now I'm on 217. Just watched the episode where Yumichika fights Charlotte..... the funniest thing I've seen in ages when I finish catching up I think I'll have to go back and watch it again whilst I wait for the next one. ^_^. Did anyone else find the pendulum arc deeply confusing (and I'm half convinced it makes contradicts something that has been said somewhere, but I can't put my finger on it).

I have Bleach drabbles but I keep coming up with more as I watch so I don't think I'll post until I'm more up to date (I'm still pretty far behind). It makes me want to write Bleach ficlets though.... must stick to nice short little drabbles no more WIPs I have too many already.

I'm being productive today, if slightly depressing. I've been watching Bleach AMVs on youtube for the last two days and now I has drabbles. Two so far, and a couple more drabble size bunnies, I'll probably post them tonight or tomorrow, and I have a highlander fic I'm editing I'll be posting soon too ^_^.

I've also been working on my Caspian fic today (the first time in days) for the hl_flashfic challenge, it's a little.... creepy and disturbing. Which is good I suppose as that is what I was aiming for but there is something particularly disturbing about writing it. Hope to get it done by this time next week which if I actually get oon with it and do a bit every day shouldn't be too difficult, so plenty of time till the deadline.

Write or die is for me perhaps the most useful writing tool ever, I have this tendency to just stare at the blinking curser blankly for hours unless something makes me keep typing.

Anyway that's it really except to say Caspian is most definitely the most disturbing POV I've ever tried to write from.

I have been rediscovering different anime fandoms I haven't read in a while and it got me thinking about my (slightly obsessive) pairing choices, I have come to realise I don't much mind about the main pairs it's the 'canon' pairings of the other characters I am totally inflexible about. So just because otherwise I'll be thinking about it all day I thought I'd post and ramble on about it.

Hey everyone, just want to prove I'm not dead

See am typing therefore can not be dead.

I'm supposed to be writing the rest of my submission for the

gundam_herald competition, not to mention the next chapters of my two WIPs (which are both partly written and shoved in the dark corner of my hard drive where documents go to die) but my brain keeps returning to this truly awful highlander/bleach crossover idea which must never see the light of day because it's terrible -Ichigo meets Richie and they help Duncan fight Ahriman *shudders* (If anyone thinks they could actually make something not terrible out of that feel free) it can't make any less sense than the canon anyway.

Just been to the job centre, I'm now officially on job seekers allowance, is it bad that I find the idea quite exciting? Have never claimed any sort of benefit before and it has novelty value.
