Fractured Thoughts

A belated Happy New Year everyone! I'm well behind on commenting and replying, my apologies I'm in the process of trying to catch up.

It's pretty late to be reposting but I've been away over the Christmas break and had limited access to the internet, and there always seemed to be other things to be reading when I was on. This is my entry from the hlh_shortcuts exchange. Hopefully the formatting right (this is my second time posting this this evening.

Author's Notes: Mid way through writing this it dawned on me that what I was writing was less one story and more a never ending verse. I hope I’ve managed to wrestle this into one coherent story.
Summary: Methos and The Doctor have been friends for centuries; they just might not be the same centuries.

3 consecutive days of writing :0) great. I think all the problems with LJ I'm going to post a recap after say a week with the links when LJ is up and running properly again and cross post as much as I can. (Posting through LJ keeps failing and eating my post).

*Grins* yay I'm writing again (even if it's short).... must keep it up. Been writing a doctor who/ highlander crossover too... it's going to be a monster if I ever finish it, therr's a lot of time and space to cover :0), and I am clearly on 3x4 roll because I want to write more of 'politics and reality' and hopefully get to the happy bits this time.

I had lots of people guessing the fandoms of the highlander crossover snippets I wrote yesterday both on DW and on the LJ version of my post.

So I thought I'd reveal/confirm them here:

As I promised yesterday here are the various ficlets I've written for various memes and challenges which have until now remained buried in the comments of random posts. Some of you will have seen some of these before but there should be something unseen for just about anyone.

Nobody faint from shock but I've actually got another  part of zero  X ready for anyone still reading it. It's only been..... err a year and a month since the last time I posted this fic.

A/N: I've mixed and matched parts from different X-men universes (there are so many, I can never keep them straight anyway), sorry if this offends anyone. only basic knowledge of the X-men is needed to understand the story.

Wow it has been a long time since I posted any of this, but I have at last another part of my GW WIP learning to communicate (does anyone even still remember it). Think of this as my late Christmas present to the GW fandom.

Title: Learning to communicate part 5
Pairing: 1x2 with a side of 3x4 and possibly 5xS
Warnings: Yaoi pairings, and the occasional shameless descent into cliche. This fic is unbeta'd.
Rating: R perhaps
A/N: Set after EW. The new administration has found a nice peaceful occupation for the pilots. This part turned into a mostly 3x4 section, I think Quatre just wanted to have his say. Previous parts are available here: part 1, part 2, part 3 part 4 this was only supposed to be about 3 parts long. It keeps growing, I now think it's going to be about 8 parts.

There we go my GW fix for the next week or so. All the lovely highlander stories at the hlh_shortcuts fest have got me inspired to work on some more of the highlander fic I have been writing for the last 6 months, not to mention all the smaller plotbunnies that are busy hopping around eating all the rational thoughts in my brain. Though I quite fancy doing another chapter of Politics and Reality.... hmmwell we will have to see what flows onto the page.

Gah, I am working on the next chapter of Learning to communicate, I was doing so well and then I moved into a scene between Trowa and Heero. Really can't get the dialogue right between them, probably because most of their canon interactons are full of long and occasionally confusing monologues (surely I'm not the only one who has noticed that).

In the meantime I bring two Bleach and one gundam wing drabble that have been sitting untouched on my hard drive for a while. The first is about the 10th division and the second the 11th (My two favourite divisions). Followed by a drabble about Heero and Trowa.
