Fractured Thoughts

Right I tried this earlier and the html kept going mad so trying it again now.

hlh_shortcuts is all finished (If you haven't had a chance and would like to check out the new highlander fics they are indexed here.) Including a lovely Methos/Duncan fic mogwai_do wrote for me, "A Christmas Story". Here though (If the formatting is kind to me this time) is the fic I wrote for this year's fest. ( The Vacation ) 
I had great fun both writing and reading again this year, so thanks to everyone who made it so much fun,  especially of course Tryfanstone. I now have dozens of little plot bunnies running around my head, so there may even be some more fic coming along.

Femaleshinigami came up with a great meme, so I thought I'd give it a try:

1). Pick a fandom you're obsessed very comfortable with

2). Now, choose 10 different fandoms you are familiar with (it doesn't need to be particularly well)

3). Now, cross the first fandom with the 10 you chose, and write short snippets (or doodle/draw something for the artistically inclined)

4). No rules. But try to not be too obvious. Try to avoid using characters from the '10 fandoms', but put the characters from your first fandom into the world and situations of the chosen fandom to cross it with. Be creative! Be vague! Use quotes, or small details as clues!

5). Now post it, but DO NOT REVEAL THE 10 CHOSEN FANDOMS! Just the first, main fandom, and make your f-list guess the rest!

Hee... that little exercise was a bunny factory there a couple of those I would love to make into a full length story. Anyway did  you catch many of the crossovers?

Part 2

Title: Never Ever
Characters: Methos, Duncan, Amanda, Richie, Joe.
Beta: thanks todswdianefor taking the time to beta. Any remaining mistakes are of course my own.
Warning/Rating: PG-13, mentions slash, het and femslash relationships lots of drinking (just as well their livers regenerate)
Summary: Joe wants answers, Richie wants to see the others drunk, Duncan and Amanda want to have fun, and Methos just wants free drinks. They play 'Never have I ever' the last to pass out wins.
Author’s Notes: Once again Methos has taken over my story but you'll be happy to know the other character occasionally get a word in edgeways. On a side note this is actually based in the same universe as Methos' secrets, although they are both completely seperate fics you can see the occasional hint here.

Yay done, what's next on the list?

So during my mad sudden burst of productivity I wrote this totally plotless and pointless little highlander fic which I thought I'd share with all those in my flist who are highlander fans.

I've started writing this really looong highlander AU fic rewriting 3000 years of history (I must be insane) and there's this Charmed/Supernatural fic I'm half way through. Right I'm off again, I've been playing with Zero X part 9 and LtC part 3, don't get excited yet they are barely more than a series of bullet points at the moment. I want to write a Mag7 too. (Biting off more than I can chew)
