Fractured Thoughts

Wow it has been a long time since I posted any of this, but I have at last another part of my GW WIP learning to communicate (does anyone even still remember it). Think of this as my late Christmas present to the GW fandom.

Title: Learning to communicate part 5
Pairing: 1x2 with a side of 3x4 and possibly 5xS
Warnings: Yaoi pairings, and the occasional shameless descent into cliche. This fic is unbeta'd.

A/N: Set after EW. The new administration has found a nice peaceful occupation for the pilots. This part turned into a mostly 3x4 section, I think Quatre just wanted to have his say. Previous parts are available here: part 1, part 2, part 3 part 4 this was only supposed to be about 3 parts long. It keeps growing, I now think it's going to be about 8 parts.

There we go my GW fix for the next week or so. All the lovely highlander stories at the hlh_shortcuts fest have got me inspired to work on some more of the highlander fic I have been writing for the last 6 months, not to mention all the smaller plotbunnies that are busy hopping around eating all the rational thoughts in my brain. Though I quite fancy doing another chapter of Politics and Reality.... hmmwell we will have to see what flows onto the page.

I have been writing lots of drabbles in different fandoms and crossovers, all exactly 100 words. Most of them are gen, but there are a couple of het and slash pairings in the last few. I had fun writing them, so I hope you will enjoy reading them:

OK it's official I'm insane, not satisfied with one WIP I have a new Gundam Wing series. (Don't worry I am still working on Zero X, just had to get this plot bunny to stop torturing me, this should be shorter.)

Yay next chapter of Zero X finished, my apologies for the delay, I promise  the  next  chapter  will be out  faster. I'm rather ambivalent about this chapter, I've shied away from writing action scenes before because, well I'm bad at them, but anyway let me know what you think

I FINALLY finished my series of fics for one_character  does a little happy dance. I disabled the date thing on the entries to avoid flooding your friends lists, (and included more than one story per entry to avoid flooding my journal) but I have the links for you here under the LJ cut.

Charater: Sally Po
Fandom: Gundam Wing
Ratings: Mostly PG-13 (and a few G)
Warnings: Vary (see individual stories) but nothing major
Pairings: Main pairing is 5xS but background 1x2 and 3x4 (I just can't help myself)

I've chosen a little used character this month, Sally Po is one of those crucial supporting characters who rarely get written about. She often turns up as the wife/girlfriend of Wufei and quite often very little is actually said about her.

It's been rather a journey of discovery as I didn't feel like I knew her very well when I started but I like to think I understand her better now. It was quite a learning curve (and surprisingly there are loads more things I could say if I had unlimited words) These all take place in the same universe and I've listed them in chronological order for you, which is the order they will make the most sense in. The whole lot add up to  exactly10,000 words as per the community rules (unless I've miss counted somewhere).

I hope you will enjoy at least some of these stories, they are quite a mixed bag as I have tried out different styles and moods, (some of them are better than others) well read, enjoy and I would love any comments or constructive criticisms you care to share.

I don't normally like AU's and crossovers in principle, (though once I get over my prejuidice and actually start reading them I really enjoy the well written ones) but I've been rewatching The X-men recently and (obsessed fangirl that I am) thought that actually it doesn't take much of a stretch to see the pilots as mutants. Next thing I know I'm writing this Gundam Wing set in the X men universe fic, I'm sure it's been done  far better before (though I don't remember seeing it) but here is the first part of it.
