Why oh why do I always leave things to the last minute? I'm feverishly finishing off my hlh_shortcuts fic for TOMORROW, I will get it done, there's only another page or so to write, I just have to stop staring fixated at the blinking cursor and get on with it. Points to icon, see that's me now, not very productive "Ooo shiny".

I know several people have had problems getting comments etc, me too. I think. So if I haven't written back to you it's not because I am unbearably rude (though that's true too) but, probably, because I didn't get it. My email inbox has suddenly started to fill up with all the X has received a virtual gift notifications today, all about 3 days old.

I was struck by that sudden desire to complicate things just before it's supposed to be finished, it now has a whole new plot.... Why do I do these things to myself?

I'm going down to the wire myself so don't feel bad - My ending sucked and i have to rewrite bits of it. *sighs* i'm just not in the mood to write. isn't that sad?

See these things are supposed to be fun, and they are... just not so much the day before a deadline. I tell myself I will be done in plenty of time and then.... I ask for a one day extension because I don't get it finished on time :0)

Good luck on the story. I turned mine in last night. It's going to be so much fun reading the stories. But, boy do I hate deadlines.

I heard the snowflake rush caused the LJ problems. Their servers got overwhelmed. I'm starting to get some comments in my inbox now. But I also have several people I get notifications when they post and I'm not getting those in a timely manner either.

Yes, I know it's mean but it does make me feel better, misery loves company and apparently so does frantic panicked typing :0). Good luck getting your fic finished.
