I keep forgetting I'm doing the highlander recs for this month.... hmmm. I'm off to find some more higlander stories that haven't been recced yet, so many brilliant unfinished stories I'm not allowed to rec.

Have been trying to write the next section of learning to communicate.... for some reason it's turning into a long 3x4 scene, this fic is supposed to be 1x2.... oh well if Quatre and Trowa are the only pilots that are going to let me write them, they do talk about Heero and Duo so it is not completely off topic and you can never have too much 3x4.

It is really hard to rec, because so many of them have been rec'd over and over. Some great fic out there though. One of the things that drove me nuts when I started reading Highlander fic was that there were so many unfinished stories as people moved on to other things. I got started in the fandom after the show went off the air even though I watched it first run.

There are a huge number of unfinished fics in the HL fandom (more than any other I'm in I think) and a lot of them are brilliant and I wish I could rec them.... some are even still being updated, if slowly which means I can have a little party every time a new chapter is added.

I only really started looking at any fandoms 3 or so years ago (not to mention how long it took me to stop lurking) and I'm always late to the party. I don't want to get involved in anything recent enough not to have a detailed canon base, which generally means at least one complete series in (what can I say I'm weird). So many fun authors seemed to have stopped writing highlander long before I started reading, fortunately there's lots more that keeps coming out. Though highlander seems to have become the crossover fandom, just to make reccing even trickier.
