Hey everyone, posting from the train again, am going back home to my nice reliable broadband connection :-), which makes me ridiculously pleased.

Found a whole load of old letters at my Dad's that I was sent by friends on holidays or when starting univeristy before everyone emailed each other all the time. Am beginning to understand my Mother's and Grandmother's insistence that letters are a nicer touch and more personal, they do seem more special although it is practically the same act. I was really pleased to see them, it makes me feel all nostalgic.

Er yes I was going to update you on the writing.... for some reason my GW muse is very shy at the moment (my apologies to everyone waiting for updates of my WIP, I will try to get some mored done this week). Highlander seems to have eaten my brain though I keep getting new fic ideas, now I just have to get them to sit still for long enough to pin them to the page. So in short I will try to get something ficcish out this week, probably a highlander based update.

I love writing real letters but i type them and print them..just for legibility.

and then i seal them with wax ;-)

but i have to double wrap them then as the mail doesn't like envelops with wax on them. Bah, humbug!

That sounds really sweet. There is something so exciting about receiving 'snail' mail from a friend.

There is something to be said for using snail mail. I have a few people that I write to fairly regularly and it's always nice to open the mailbox and find a letter waiting for you.
