1. What is your nickname?

Ellie, El or other variations (when I was a kid my parents used to affectionately call me Belsebub it's amazing I grew up as normal as I did)

2. What do you do before bedtime?

Er... shower, brush my teeth etc.... The I spend in the next two hours or so meaning to go to sleep while I play online

3. Tell me about a hobby/habit of yours most people don't know about.

Um... I can't think of one

4. What color of shirt are you wearing right now?

Black

5.What's your favorite television/anime series?

I have to pick one? At the moment probably Bleach, or TV highlander

6. Have you ever been in love?

Not really,

7. Do you trust easily?

Hmmm... I guess so it wouldn't occur to me to distrust someone without some sort of prior indication

8. Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you?

I never remember to return pens, and I flat out steal books from my family. I do let them read them first though, don't worry I give them back to anyone else.

9. Is there anything that has made you happy these days? If so, what?

Discovering new fandoms, I love have a whole load of unread, long, finished fics I can enjoy. Oh and seeing updates of series or authors I'm already reading. God I'm such a geek.

10. Would you change anything about your appearance?

I'd like to lose weight

11. What are you wearing on your feet right now?

Nothing, I've kicked off my flip flops.

12. What websites do you visit daily?

Livejournal, Yahoo, fanfiction.net, Pubmed (work).

13. What item do you own that you've had the longest?

Er..my body, had that since before I was born

14. What's your favorite junk food?

Chocolate, crisps, fizzy drinks oh hell anything, I'm not meant to eat them though *sulks*

15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?

Not sure, even if I could think of one I probably wouldn't know the name I'm terrible with song names

16. One thing you never leave the house without?

My glasses, I'd walk in front of a bus without them

17. What's better: to give or to receive?

I get a kick out of both,

18. What's the first thing you notice in people?

The voices I guess, I'm not visually a very observant person, I only really notice people when I actually interact with them. I am forever accidently blanking people until they call out to me.

19. What could you not go without during the day?

The internet and food (in that order) it's a compulsion

20. What should you be doing right now?

Working!

I'm supposed to tag people but I'm never sure who likes to be tagged and who finds it irritating so go ahead and do it if you want to.

hehe... you know as for nicknames, my son has one that he rather gave himself back in the 7th grade (about age 12) that's still used today -- it's pudd, short for puddwacker. a lot of his friends know him by pudd rather than his real name (steven), and even those who know him as steven, call him steve... steve is the name of a close male friend.

also, steven calls me 'loser'. not so much any more, since he has grown up some. but he started when he was a young teen. i've written about it a couple of times... it's his way of saying 'i love you' without saying it, you know? he knows he can say it, and i'll know what he means.

Some of the names my brother and I call each other are horrible, but really they mean 'you're my family, so we're allowed to be mean to each other' and 'you're a jerk but I still love you'. We'd both die of embarassment if we actually had to say that aloud so names do instead.

The internet and then food? I'm not sure I could put food second. Especially if it's that bad-for-you junk food I'm trying not to eat. ^_^

Food is great, I love my food but I mope whenever I don't have my internet.

Belsebub is kind of cute and probably appropriate I'm sure I was a monster at that age, it seems like tempting fate though.

Absolutely, what are family bookshelves if not libraries? of course anyone who takes any of my books should be prepared to die *my precious*.
