A highlander question

Hiya faithful all knowing flist, I'm writing a highlander fic (well actually a HL/Mag7 crossover, and not so much writing as staring at a blinking cursor but anyway).

I'm trying to remember episodes in which Methos and Richie interact, there's Chivalry of course (which of course is a great start to their friendship) and then the Messenger (in which I get the distinct impression they each annoyed the other) and didn't Richie try to get Methos to help in Archangel (and didn't that work out well)? But were there any other episodes where they actually got on? They both get roped into helping with the building work for Anne's house but I don't think they were there at the same time and other than that I'm drawing a blank.

I think that was about it TBH, they were the 3 eps that I thought of too. Unless you count To Be/Not To Be which is perhaps not a prime example of them getting on ;) Largely they seemed to be fairly 'meh' and only in contact because of Duncan. It might have been better, but Richie declined Methos' advice in Chivalry, so Methos declined to live up to his expectations in the Messenger, and by Archangel...

Oh, no wait. I thought they might have been involved with the Dark Quickening, but I'm not sure they actually interacted then, IIRC Richie split before Methos turned up...

I really must watch these again, it's been a long time...

I think I need to rewatch Archangel.... I hate that episode.

It seems like Richie and Methos are just destined to not get on.

Sorry, I tried to think of one, but can't. My guess is that since no one else has answered that none of us can think of such an episode. Though I'm sure fic has been written with this story line, I don't think there was much interaction between them in the show beyond what you mentioned.

The only other episode I can think about is Not To Be. But I don't suppose that helps you much. And their relationship in that ep ended up very badly.
