Highlander crossover reveal

I had lots of people guessing the fandoms of the highlander crossover snippets I wrote yesterday both on DW and on the LJ version of my post.

So I thought I'd reveal/confirm them here:

1. Was gundam wing - my first fandom love, this, as those of you familiar with the series no doubt realised, was a twist on the scene with Heero breaking in to kill/rescue Duo

2. Was a Sandman crossover, I'm surprised only one person got this but it was on reflection perhaps a little obscure reference to the series. (I recently re-read them). Cain and Abel telling Methos, Matthew and Goldie the baby gargoyle tales in Methos' Dreams.

3. Charmed :0). I think this one might be my favourite idea... I would love to write the rest of this story, (because what I need in my life is more partially written fic). Anyone remember which Charmed episode P.W was in? (There's no way I could resist adding a reference to it if I did write this)

4. *Evil laugh* Kronos in the Supernatural universe.

5. I think EVERYBODY caught this one, yes I turned Methos into Rose Tyler, and no I don't feel guilty about it at all.

6. This one was CSI, well one of them anyway I was thinking about the original CSI when I wrote it but it could equally have been any of them... Methos as the CSI lab tech :0).

7. Magnificent 7 - with Duncan setting out to track down Vin Tanner... I would love to write this one too, *gasp* a highlander fic without Methos I'm not sure I could cope.

8. Another obsure one Amanda, Methos and  Duncan visit Ouran High School Host Club, mainly because I think it would be hilarious to see Duncan losing a fight against cute little (but lethal) Hunni.

9. I think everyone got this one too (LOTR), Methos the Blue wizard esaping Middle Earth. I half want to write this as an alternative immortal origin story but there are a number of logic problems and canon clashes hidden in that paragraph. Maybe  someday when I have worked out exactly what was going in that scene.

and last but not least 10. Joe as a mutant in an X-Men crossover... It makes a nonsense of various parts of highlander canon but I want to write this anyway :0).

The evil bunnies have multiplied.

Gah. I can't believe I missed this yesterday, I do like my Methosian crossovers :-) But then due to cosmic alignment or some other inexplicable phenomenon, I have been slightly *cough* focused of late (see icon). I got 2,4,5,6, 9 and 10, so quite pleased with that. I'm not sure what twigged me to the Sandman one though, haven't read any of those in *years*. Although it did occur to me a little while ago that one of my OC's bears some resemblance to the 2nd Corinthian - physical mainly.

Incidentally, though I've never watched it, the Charmed ep is 08x19 I think.

:0) There is just something about Methos that begs to be written into every book, series, film and play ever created. (Sometimes I think he wants me to write them all too, or at least to go insane trying... I figure I'm doomed).

PW was in an episode of Charmed? I haven't seen the full series, just runs of episodes here and there. I'll have to find that one to watch now.

I'd love to see some of these written. You know you want to.

Yes I want to, or have them magically appear on my computer or something anyway :0). Have to hope time and inspiraton can conspire to help me get something onto the page.
