My brain has staged a revolt

I seem to be going through an anime fandoms obsession stage at the moment, I blame the fact I have a deadline for a HL fic coming up. It's likee my brain hears 'commitment' and 'deadline' and immediately runs off in the opposite direction, trying to distract me with different "pretty shiny things". This weekend I have been through a host of Bleach recs and then a batch of Hikaru No Go fics I haven't read in years, and now I'm thinking 'hmmm.... ouran'.

Anytime I start to think about highlander or gundam wing (the two fandoms I'm supposed ot be writing thiings for) new unrelated plot bunnies spring up or I have the sudden uncontrollable urge to go and find old fics in other fandoms. *Bangs head against the wall a couple of times*. I shall finish this fic, stop tormenting me with distractions. I will. I'm just going to finish reading this fic first.....

I haven't even *started* my HL flashfic thing, but then I've been concentrating on the Torchwood Big Bang (also a Highlander fic) as the first draft is due in tomorrow.

I know strange isn't it? I don't know what that is about... *goes to check the post* well you're second comes up so it's not some weird setting. *Shrugs* I think LJ just likes doing weird things sometimes
