7 days to hlh-shortcuts deadline.... yikes. Guess what I'm doing this weekend :0)
Really want to get it drafted before I go away Monday-Tuesday. It's coming along though so fingers crossed, just need to... Yeah well, anyway that's why we have weekends.
How's everyone else's going? Please tell me I'm not the only one with (what feels like) half a fic.

I am currently in a state of complete flail/hair-tearing on mine. I was using NaNo to get a whole bunch Highlander stuff written, with a focus on the HLH story, and at the moment I have many disconnected scenelets and [this happens here] paragraphs, and I actually, finally, do have a sense of what the whole story is, and I am pretty sure I cannot actually _finish_ it in time, though, as you say, that is what weekends are for.

I am also afraid that it has acquired sundry elements that my receipient won't actually like, so I am _also_ wondering if it would be better to just find one of the other bits I wrote & polish it into shape instead.

That sounds familiar, I'm just hoping I can turn mine into something coherent. Good luck with yours, which ever you end up doing it's not like either is wasted. I'm going to have a second partly finished fic too, but that just means I'll have something to play with in the new year. Just have to get this one finished first, somehow these things always work out eventually. I'm really looking forward to reading them all :0).
