*waves*

Hiya hope you've all had a good weekend. I've actually been doing some writing for the first time in ages (though don't expect anything to be posted for a bit).

I've also been revisiting various animes.... I'm now only 10 Bleach episodes behind (as opposed to the 30 or so I was last week) and I started rewatching Trinity Blood. :0)

Anyway I was chatting to my Mum and she said she fancied trying out some anime if I got one for her birthday. So I was going to get one of the Studio Gibhli films... to break her in gently. Now I just have to decide which.... I'm leaning towards Spirited Away which I loved. But thought I'd ask everyone which their favourites were.

I do like Spirited Away quite a bit, but my favorite is probably Howl's Moving Castle.

How about My Neighbor Totoro?
Its sweet and a bit nostalgic, perhaps a little slow but overall very pretty and calm
- it depends on the type of thing your Mum likes.

My favorite Ghibli is still Spirited Away but my Mum wasn’t too keen on the barfing scene ^_^

Just the thoughts of a random passerby.

Howl's moving Castle was the first I watched and I loved it. Spirited away and Howl are my favourites of all of them.

I love Bleach so much. And death note is fantastic though I haven't watched past L yet (another for my list). Don't think my Mum would like either of them though, at least not to start with :0).
My first anime was gundam wing (unless you count the occasional episode of Digimon or Pokemon I couldn't escape).

My neighbour Totoro was incredibly sweet.... I have an evil plan to introduce my neice and nephew to anime through that film, torment my poor little brother as they watch it 6000 times all day every day for weeks.

Ponyo is great for little ones too.

But its theme song is addictive for all :)
