Methos being older than 5000 and not really called Methos is my own personal head canon (I don't think I'm alone in that) after all if he can't remember anything before taking a head, who knows how much time there was before that.

Methos and Mac have so much subtext in their relationship, I wrote this as gen but it's definitely affected by Slash goggles.
