slush pile? sock? this space at the bottom of my story files where I throw ideas and scraps of dialogue or descriptions that may or may not find their way into the final story.

I like that idea I sort of do the same but with bullets and paragraphs, and if they don't fit but I really liked them they may become drabbles or ficlets.
