This post started as a post for my own reference to satisfy my anal retentive need to be consistent with my tagging.

Just in case anyone wanted some guidance in navigating my 'system' I decided to leave it open, (but if i post this right it won't appear on your friend pages). Then I got carried away and it can now be considered a list of policies and disclaimers as well as an explanation of tags.

Why oh why do I always leave things to the last minute? I'm feverishly finishing off my

hlh_shortcuts fic for TOMORROW, I will get it done, there's only another page or so to write, I just have to stop staring fixated at the blinking cursor and get on with it. Points to icon, see that's me now, not very productive "Ooo shiny".

I know several people have had problems getting comments etc, me too. I think. So if I haven't written back to you it's not because I am unbearably rude (though that's true too) but, probably, because I didn't get it. My email inbox has suddenly started to fill up with all the X has received a virtual gift notifications today, all about 3 days old.

So I don't actaully have anything to say I'm just posting because if I post today I will have posted everyday for a whole week. I'm fairly sure this is some kind of record for me. So go me.

While I'm here I might as well give a fic progress update.... now I have finished the second part of Reality and politics and my HL fic is being beta'd (new experience for me, but hey it means something I've written will actually have punctuation in the right places) I'm concentrating on the next part of Zero X, which probably won't be finished by the end of the weekend but I'm hopeful for early next week. (I can't understand why some things take me a fortnight to write and other things I can just sit down for half an hour and.. done). So I may have more of those How I spent my Summers ficlet things out first i want to do some more of the Mag 7 boys and some of the pilots and maybe a few other characters from different fandoms.

Er.. right dinner, I'm off to forage for food.

Oh BTW, I still have several DW invitations if anyone wants one or knows someone who does.

Yikes I'm going to be busy this month. I'm moving, again. Which I hate, I'm starting on the packing in the hope it won't be too rushed at the end. I really hate doing all the paperwork and cleaning and trying to get the bills sorted. It will be nice to be in a nice new house, I think I'll miss this one though. I'm still trying to find the third person for our house too, *stress*.

In LJ land I'm doing the highlander

crack_van and signed up for another round with

ficfinishing to finish off some of my highlander fics (anyone wiith unfinished fanfics should pop over and see if any of their fandoms are part of it. I got soo much done last month). Then I want to do the

fixchange challenge too. Busy busy busy. No one come up with any fun ideas or absorbing fics until next month ^_^.

I should have a fic update ready this week, I hope.

I'm crossposting (if I'm doing it right) from dreamwidth where I have just set up an account under the same username. Here If anyone wants to connect to me on dreamwidth too you're of course very welcome. I am adding people haphazardly as I find them eventually recreating my LJ flist over here too.

I don't know how much I will use this account, might be constantly or not at all (I currenty have the basic free account, I'm not planning on paying until I know whether I want to stay). I certainly will not be abandoning my LJ anytime in the near future. Do people still need invite codes? (I find the whole closed open beta thing confusing, I don't even know if they are still needed) I don't have any codes at the moment but I can request some for the next round.

All my user pics have disappeared?!? What? why? I don't get it? The labels for them are still there but no pictures. Have i accidently changed some setting or something or is LJ just being strange?

EDIT: Oh look I'm not the only one, looks like a couple of others have disappeared too.

EDIT: Ahhh it's firefox I can see them on internet explorer. It won't load yahoo mail either. Anyone any ideas what settings I need to change to get it back?

EDIT: Yay they're back apparently I had to clear my cache. So all done now so now I can see all the pretty pictures and my awful attempts at icons. Thank you for the suggestions.
